In October 2023, long-established Milton Keynes firm Heald Solicitors acquired Chandler Ray in Buckingham. The merged firm will practice out of both locations with Chandler Ray remaining as the stand-out firm in Buckingham.
The acquisition by Heald Solicitors expands Heald’s local geographical footprint into Buckingham and the wider county. Heald’s managing partner Kevin Windo explains that he was impressed by Chandler Ray’s long-standing reputation and loyal customer base in Buckingham.

Chris Chandler who became a partner in 1974 and will stay on as a consultant with Diana Davis remaining the firm’s senior solicitor in that office. Chandler Ray’s existing strengths in property, wills and probate and agricultural law closely compliment Heald’s commercial strengths. Acting as a united team, Heald Solicitors and Chandler Ray will fulfil requirements from both individual and business clients.
